No Motivation to Pole Dance in the winter: 4 Tips to keep you motivated during the winter season

How to keep your motivation for going to pole class during the fall and winter season!!

It’s fall now! What happened to the summertime?? Wintertime is approaching rapidly. I’m not a big fan of the wintertime. Cold air is not my best friend.  Trust me, if I could stay inside all winter and hibernate like a bear I would!

During the fall and winter season, the sun rises earlier and the sunsets earlier. The first day of summer is the longest day of daylight during the year.  After the first day of summer, a minute of sunlight is taken away each day! If you’re not paying close attention you will not notice the change till late September – Early October. The hard hit is when Daylight Savings comes in early November! The sun begins to set around   It’s so depressing! The most depressing time of the year!

When daylight savings occurs a lot of us will began to feel sluggish due to the change. Due to less sunlight many of us receive less vitamin D.  Sunlight helps the body to produce Vitamin D. Essential Vitamin D is vital for making our muscles work efficiently and boosting energy levels. During this time of the year, I have to push myself to get out of the house to teach pole class.

Last year after having this problem I did some research on natural energy boosters. Changing your diet can change your energy level!

Our number #1 source of energy is our first meal of the day! Breakfast is very important.  It is our fuel that keeps us moving throughout the day. If you do not eat breakfast, your body can’t function properly.

Green tea is a great energy booster.  Green tea contains caffeine, but not too much just enough to get your day started.  Green tea makes you less jittery than black tea.

Bananas is another great natural energy booster. Bananas contain 3 natural sugars which are areglucose, sucrose, and fructose. Researchers discovered two bananas can provide enough energy for an intense 90 minute workout.

Have you heard of chia seeds?? Chia seeds ar90-minutee another great energy booster. These seeds are a plant-based protein. Chia also contains a high source of omega-3 fatty acids, similar to flax. You can add chia seeds to your smoothie, salad or oatmeal.

There are so many natural energy boosters, I could write a whole book! Some other natural energy boosters to try are blueberries, green salads, and green smoothies.
